Beacon 19…. goolwa sa
Goolwa beach ….south coast
Loving the light cloud formations and weather systems…..
At the bottom of Yorke Peninsula SA ….a small outcrop of houses sits…remnant scrub and long vistas of sea and sky….

A crisp sunny morning walk with friends …
a smorgasboard of seaweeds and kelp
and other fascinating sea offerings ……
A hermit crab venturing out of its shell
A soft pale pink sponge
A glistening red shell the size of my little finger nail with an occupant!
Skeletal remains ….think its a skate
A perfect feather carefully draped atop
A glorious autumn morning’s walk which we finished off with a swim in the ocean…. Happiness is a beach!
While walking on the beach this morning sky blue, icey cold, tide out …… lots of foam strewn along the edge of the water. I had been thinking about texture after seeing Micael Lai’s post …..
I enjoyed the challenge of finding or creating an image that might convey the meaning of texture..
images taken at one of my favorite places with my phone : ))
It had been extreme heat for most of the day……early evening I wandered down to the beach to catch the last rays of sun….the beach deserted apart from the odd seagull looking for an evening snack. The wind was now onshore, cool and refreshing. I was eager to try out my new camera which I have yet to make friends with.
Still…. it was a beautiful evening and here is some of what I saw…..
Like gazing into the infinite undisturbed by humans…..
