On my morning walk ….
Beautiful colours and shapes
Unimaginable diversity…….so good to see
The cliffs close to where we were staying were made of jagged limestone, worn into gloriously fantastical shapes at the whims of the wind, the sea and salt spray
The vegetation hugging close and dense, footholds tightly twined into the rocky sand
Colours vibrant and lush
Fleshy, succulent attuned to this harsh yet wondrous environment
Incredible thousands of years old granite rocks sculpted by nature….the sea, the wind, the rain, coloured by beautiful lichens…
Shapes that inspire
Shapes to muse on
Shapes in awe of
Early morning sun rising struggling through the banks of cloud…..
A sweet little tammar wallaby just outside the door. Later in the day…..an internet connection ….hurry still overcast and broody but big swell great television! Mesmerizing!
Walk on the beach and what do you see….
This is on the murray river some ten kilometers upstream from the mouth of one of the largest river systems in oz…the beginning of the coorong national park. I live a 10minute bike ride from this beautiful place.
